Tata Motors reported vehicle sales of 4,225 units from January to October 2010, already winning a two per cent share of the Thai pickup market from its goal of achieving a five per cent share within five years. Its single-cab models accounted for 63 per cent of the sales and Tata has moved up to number three in this category.
Tata Motors sales have made satisfactory progress. Compared to first 10 months of 2009, pickup truck volume has grown 406.9%.
The company will continue to innovate and offer effective business solutions to Thai customers. Tata Motors produced is Thailand’s first developer of original 100% CNG-driven pickup, and brought pickups with flat load body that opens from three sides that gives commercial users of pickup a tremendous advantage.
