FTSE Group (FTSE) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) today announced the launch of new FTSE SET All-Share Industry Indices.
The indices provide investors with the most comprehensive set of tools available for in-depth analysis of the Thailand market. The set of 10 Industry, 19 Supersector and 39 Sector indices can be used to execute sector-based investment strategies and as the basis of sector-specific funds and other index-linked products
Based on the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB), which has been adopted as the global standard in stock sector and industry classification, the indices will enable like-for-like comparisons between sectors and industries in Thailand and other countries.
The new indices are part of the FTSE SET All-Share Universe and current subscribers will get extra benefits with their addition to existing data packages.
