Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort, located on the magnificent white sandy beach of Klong Muong is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Francesco Lollino as the new chef for our infamous Italian restaurant, “Gecko’s”.
Originally from Bari, South of Italy, Chef Francesco pursued his love of food and topped his class in the professional institute of Alberghiero Perlotti Bari, Italy. Following his graduation he began an apprenticeship and gathered experience overseas in countries such as England, Germany, U.S.A. and Portugal. Since 1996, he spent most of his life in the Isle of Man and went on to make his mark at La Mona Lisa Restaurant.
Chef Francesco knows all about the intricacy of fine dining and his forte over and above Italian dining is Mediterranean cuisine. With such a varied culinary experience, Chef Francesco is the perfect choice to take the helm at Gecko’s. He looks forward to serving discerning diners his exquisite Italian cuisine infused with his own creative and unique style.
