To celebrate His Majesty the King Bhumibhol’s Birthday Anniversary, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is serving special and authentic Thai dishes on outbound international routes from Bangkok.
Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI President, said, “THAI is celebrating this special occasion of His Majesty the King’s Birthday and Father’s Day by offering specially prepared authentic Thai dishes in all class of travel on international routes from Bangkok. These exclusive dishes are prepared with ingredients from the Royal Project for passengers traveling outbound from Bangkok during 4-6 December 2010 (except on flights with limitations and flights with breakfast served).
Included in the special menu:
Royal First Class: Passengers traveling on Royal First Class will be served Prawn & Herbs Salad Thai Style in Golden Crispy Cup, Minced Three Flavored Chicken, Grilled Minced Fish with Kaffir Lime Leaves and Chili Paste as appetizers, followed by Minced Soured Pork on Deep-Fried Rice with Curry Paste and Thai Herbs on Cabbage Leaf and Deep-Fried Tiger Prawn as first course. The main course consists of Chicken in Red Curry, Fried Chicken Julienne with Fried Shallot, Steamed Rice in Coconut Flavor and TG Salad Thai Style (Som Tum) with Grilled Tiger Prawn. Dssert includes Sago in Coconut Milk, Baked Egg Custard with Royal Project Japanese pumpkin and Chocolate Praline.
Royal Silk Class and Premium Economy Class: Passengers traveling in Royal Silk Class and Premium Economy can enjoy Minced Three Flavored Chicken and Grilled Minced Fish with Kaffir Lime Leaves and Chili Paste for appetizers, with Minced Soured Pork on Deep-Fried Rice with Curry Paste and Thai Herbs on Cabbage Leaf and Deep-Fried Tiger Prawn for the first course. For the main course, Chickens in Red Curry, Fried Chicken Julienne with Fried Shallot, Steamed Rice in Coconut Flavor and TG Salad Thai Style (Som Tum) with Grilled Prawn will be served. Dessert will be Sago in Coconut Milk or Baked Egg Custard with Royal Project Japanese Pumpkin.
Economy Class: Passengers in Economy Class can enjoy Thai Style (Som Tum) salad with grilled prawn as appetizer, followed by Chicken in Red Curry, Fried Chicken Julienne with Fried Shallot and Steamed Rice in Coconut Flavor. For dessert, Sago in Coconut Milk will be served.
In creating the special authentic Thai dishes, THAI invited Assistant Professor Srisamorn Kongpun, Thai Culinary Specialist, domestically and internationally renowned, as a consultant to the creation and development team, aiming to maximize passenger satisfaction for the special occasion.
