Stefan Gruber, General Manager, recently announced the appointment of James Wharton as the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel.
James began his hotel career in 1999 at Landmark Parkroyal Hotel in Operations and soon after joined Marriott International at the Renaissance Sydney Hotel which was then repositioned as the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel. James has worked in Sales leadership positions in Seoul, Tokyo, and most recently in the Shanghai Marriott Cluster Office as Project Director of the Shanghai World Expo 2010.
James has had a distinctive, award winning career with Marriott International and along the way has had international experience living and working in Korea, Japan and China. It is a pleasure to welcome him to Thailand.
