Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin together with Vintage Car Club of Thailand, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Hua Hin Municipality will evoke the old charming vibes of Hua Hin, land of a magical spell and the first resort town of Thailand that has remained a fond memory of many a person for a long time in “The Hua Hin Festival of Vintage Car Parade 2010”.
Mr. Kwanchai Paphatphong, President of Vintage Car Club of Thailand, reveals, “The Hua Hin Festival of Vintage Car Parade 2010” is being organized for the 8th year running and the event has become a prestigious annual festival in the tourism calendar of Amphoe Hua Hin, Changwat Prachuap Khiri Khan. This year the event will be even more special to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).”
The Club will organize a parade of 50 vintage and classic cars, travelling from Bangkok to Sofital Centara Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin, Amphoe Hua Hin, Changwat Prachuap Khiri Khan. The Parade will then move on to Hua Hin Market Village shopping centre to join in the official opening ceremony.
The event will feature a variety of activities including “Exquisite Buffet Dinner 50-metre long 50-dishes” prepared by professional chefs from member hotels of the Hua Hin Hoteliers’ Club. Diners will be entertained by live music performances throughout the evening, at only 250 Baht per head.
On the second day, “Tour Hua Hin in a vintage car for charity” will be open to tourists and the public to experience closely the appeal and beauty of vintage cars, with service fee starting from only 250 Baht per ride (2 — 3 persons in a car). The cars can be boarded in front of the lobby of Sofitel Centara Grand Hotel.
