“The 27th Thailand International Motor Expo 2010” will provide a platform for the preservation of Thai arts and culture, staging performing arts of Thailand by young talents. Interested visitors are welcome to see the shows free of charge during the 27th Motor Expo.
Prapong Maicharoen, Deputy Chairman of the 27th Motor Expo Organizing Committee discloses that the Organizer has pulled together with the Society of Thai Arts, Culture and National Identity, Young Artists’ Club and Schools under management of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to organize the Thai arts, culture and national identity ground in front of IMPACT Challenger 2, Muang Thong Thani, providing an opportunity for talented youths to perform live on stage in public. The variety of performances that will take place in rotation at the show ground include Thai classical music, Thai folk music, the art of Thai Boxing, Krabi Krabong, and Natasilpa. The shows will begin around 1500 hrs. daily from December 1 to 12, 2010.
There will also be performances by school children who have won contests in the “Unpolluted Breath” Project including winner of the Unpolluted Breath Song competition.
Another unmissable corner is the picture gallery displaying works of art by Motor Expo Young Artists for the eighth year running. Any visitor who finds a picture to his liking and wishes to buy it can place an order. Proceeds from picture sales will go to the art education fund of the Young Artists’ Club and also the fund in support of the teaching and learning of art therapy for autistic children.
Interested persons and the general public are invited to make a visit and give moral support to the children, as well as taking part in activities of their choice on the Grand Charity Day Wednesday 1, December 2010 when all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Chaipattana Foundation and also the “Unpolluted Breath” Project fund to create campaigns for instilling value of honesty in Thai youths, for the fifth year running.
