The open kitchen of La Scala will be filled with the intoxicating and irresistible aroma of white truffles from Alba, which is also the home of some of Italy’s finest wines.
White truffles from Alba, Italy, will be celebrated at The Sukhothai Bangkok starting with an exclusive Alba White Truffle Dinner with Gaja Wines on 1 December 2010 for one night only! The celebration will continue from 2-23 December with an a la carte menu by our Italian Master Chef Maurizio Menconi.

Alba White Truffle Dinner with Gaja Wines Our Italian Master Chef Maurizio Menconi is creating a 6-course exquisite and fresh truffle-infused cuisine specially paired with top wines from renowned Piedmont winery, Gaja. The night’s wines rated by Wine Spectator include the 92 points Gaja Rossj-Bass Langhe 2008, Chardonnay; and 99 points Gaja Sperss Langhe 2004, Nebbiolo-Barbera. Both are high premium wines from the Gaja winery, owned and operated by four generations of the Gaja family.

This 2-23 December is White Truffle Week with an a la carte menu for both lunch and dinner. Recommendations are Roll้ of Bresse Turkey Breast "Domaine de la P้rouse", White Truffle stuffed Fillet of Dover Sole wrapped in Potato with Champignon de Paris Sauce, and Piedmont Fassone Beef “Tagliata” style.
