Dynamic and elegant exterior styling
The 207 features a design that is unlike anything that has been seen in the Thai premium compact segment. Balanced aesthetics that harmoniously and elegantly combine dynamism with the shapes of its new styling is sure to turn many heads on Thai streets.
This new sedan, with an overall length of 4 235 mm, width of 1 669 mm and height of 1 447 mm, is the result of special specifications defined to create a premium quality automobile with unique styling.
From the front, the 207 stands apart with its sporty curved lines that create a very dynamic image. The single generously-proportioned air intake and the large ‘soft nose’ bumper that sweeps around to the front wings contribute greatly to this perception.
The rear has been seamlessly integrated into the overall design with a styling line that begins at the level of the Marque's emblem and crosses the hood of the car before extending to the windscreen pillars, the windscreen and the roof, which then flows down the vast rear window and ends on the boot.
The premium quality of the 207 is further enhanced by chrome inserts, such as the upper seals on the side protection strips and the trim situated above the registration plate, with the Peugeot name also appearing in chrome lettering.
The rear light clusters have a design that combines ruby red and white to reflect an image of modernity.
Finally, a note of dynamic styling is added by the pronounced wheel arches, while the bumpers containing the rear fog light exude a feeling of solidity.
Meticulously-designed interior styling
With its contemporary styling, the passenger compartment of the 207 has been thought out to procure a feeling of space in refined surroundings.
This perception is initially conveyed by the dashboard with a two-level design that contributes to freeing up space in the front of the passenger compartment and offering greater visibility for the front occupants. High quality materials cover both the dashboard and the upper sections of the doors.

Inspired by the world of the motorcycle, the 207's instrument panel has four chrome-trimmed circular instrument dials (2 main and 2 small satellites) with a white background, and lettering similar to that of precision instruments.

In order to fulfill the expectations of an increasingly demanding clientele, Peugeot designers have paid meticulous attention to noise levels on the 207. In particular, sound-proofing material has been incorporated in the dashboard and doors to filter out exterior noise.
Welcoming and comfortable vehicle interior
Passengers are comfortably installed inside the 207, thanks not only to the generous elbow width (1 383 mm in the front and 1 363 mm in the rear), but also due to the comfort of the seats that can be adjusted in a multitude of different positions. The front seats can also be adjusted for extra leg room within a range of 220 mm, while the driver's seat is also height adjustable within a range of 50 mm.
The rear seats have been designed to accommodate three adults in comfort and the 1/3-2/3 split seatback folds down to increase the car's load carrying capacity.
Vast boot
Over and above its harmonious aesthetics, the 207 has a host of practical features especially designed for its use as a family car.
For starters, the 207 has an enormous boot with a capacity of 420 litres. With its rectangular shape, low sill and its "swan neck" opening system that allows an opening angle of 87.5?, boot space is maximized and offers easy loading and unloading.
Finally the 207 is equipped with a host of storage spaces inside the car for practical day-to-day driving, such as the cavernous glove box and the door pockets equipped with a bottle recess.
Symbiosis between comfort and dynamism
Extended development and testing has been conducted on the design of the running gear to ensure that the 207's performance matches the demands of the road network as closely as possible. These thousands of kilometres covered have resulted in optimal chassis behavior, with safe and pleasant road holding and cornering, without sacrificing driving comfort.
Accordingly, the front suspension is of the pseudo McPherson strut type with a separate anti-roll bar, and the rear features a trailing arm suspension, also equipped with a generous anti-roll bar.
For impressive braking power, the 207 is equipped with large diameter (247 mm) ventilated disc brakes at the front coupled to a 4 channel ABS system with EBD and EBA as standard, and drum brakes at the rear.
Lively engine coupled with the comfort of an automatic gearbox
The 207 is offered with a 1.6 L petrol engine (82 kW ~ maximum power of 110 h.p. at 5 800 r.p.m. and maximum torque of 147 Nm at 4 000 r.p.m.).
This engine is combined with an electronically-controlled "Tiptronic System Porsche" automatic gearbox that enables the driver to choose between a relaxed fully-automatic driving mode and a more active driving mode with personal gear change control.
Passenger safety
The 207 is equipped with state-of-the-art onboard safety systems to ensure that passengers travel in maximum safety.
Accordingly, adaptive front airbags, front seat safety belts with pyrotechnic tensioners and headrests on all seats are included as standard equipment.
The car is also equipped with side protection bars, anti-dive front seats and automatically activated hazard warning lights in the event of sharp deceleration. Child safety is ensured with the presence of ISOFIX attachment points in the front and rear.
Generous equipment level
The 207 is being launched with a comprehensive level of equipment to confirm its positioning as a Premium range vehicle.
For greater passenger comfort, the car is equipped with automatically adjustable air conditioning with a pollen filter, automatic windscreen wipers and automatic headlights as standard. The front fog lights are also standard equipment.
The 207 also comes with four electric windows, remote-controlled centralized door locking and electric side view mirrors. The MP3 and USB compatible audio system is Bluetooth enabled and comes as standard with the vehicle. This rich level of equipment is rounded off with an onboard computer. Finally, the vehicle has a steering column anti-theft system with a transponder.
