Mercedes-Benz Dealer Council showcase a range of 11 latest models of both in passenger cars and commercial vehicles at the 27th Thailand International Motor Expo to be held at Impact Challenger 1-3, Mueng Thong Thani from 1 — 12 December 2010.

The new E-Class Estate : Intelligent (E)state-of-the-art
One of the event’s highlight is E 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY AVANTGARDE Estate.
This highly distinctive member of the E-Class family is the benchmark in terms of boot volume and functionality, and even the standard equipment version differentiates itself significantly from the competition.
E-Class Estate provides a number of technical innovations that have been incorporated into the new E-Class which no other car in this class is able to offer -- from drowsiness detection to automatic emergency braking when an accident is recognised as imminent, and from Adaptive Highbeam Assist to the active bonnet.
In comfort, E-Class Estate comes with the extensive standard equipment such as air suspension with automatic self-leveling at the rear axle to ensure that the Estate always remains at the same level, even when fully loaded.
With the load capacity of up to 1,950 litres, E-Class Estate has set the standard in its class. One particular special feature of the load compartment management system is the option of opening the standard-fit EASY-PACK tailgate automatically by using the ignition key or pressing the handle if the car needs to be loaded from behind. The innovative “quickfold” system enables the rear 1/3:2/3-split seat backrests to be folded down by a cable pull from the load compartment.
E 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY AVANTGARDE Estate comes with 4 in-line cylinders engine, 1796 cc displacement, 5-speed automatic transmission, provides rated output of 150 kW/204 hp, rated torque of 310 Nm at 2,000 — 4,300 rpm, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8.4 seconds while the top speed is 230 km/h., the vehicle consumes 8.0 — 8.2 litre of petrol /100 km in average and releases CO2 emission at 185 — 191 g/km. E 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY AVANTGARDE Estate is offered at the price of 4, 949,000 Baht.
The new-generation R-Class
The second highlight of Mercedes-Benz stand is R 300 CDI 4MATIC, new and dynamic design with a completely new front end. The R-Class is the most variable and spacious model in the entire Mercedes-Benz passenger car range, offering the economy of space of today's large-capacity people-carriers together with the comfort, luxury and prestige of classic Mercedes-Benz saloons, and combines these with the robustness of the Mercedes-Benz SUVs.
Despite delivering the same output and improved performance compared with the preceding model, the new R 300 CDI 4MATIC consumes around 7 percent less fuel with average consumption at 9.3 — 9.5 litre per 100 km and releases CO2 emission at 246 - 253 g/km. The V6 diesel engine of 2,987 cc displacement boasts 140 kW (190 hp) at 4,000 rpm, rated torque of 440 Nm at 1,400 — 2,800 rpm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 9.8 seconds, while the top speed is 210 km/h.
R-Class arrives in 2 models: R 300 CDI 4MATIC Family that comes with 7 seaters is offered at the price of 5,899,000 Baht and R 300 CDI 4MATIC Executive that comes with 6 seaters is offered at 6,449,000 Baht.
