Bangkok--1 Dec--Sofitel Bangkok Silom
Sofitel Bangkok Silom, led by Christian Schlegel, the Hotel Manager (2nd row, 3rd from left), has recently donated 175 helmets to primary school students at Wat Kaewjamfah School in Bangrak District as part of the Asia Injury Prevention (AIP) Foundation’s Helmets for Kids program. The school’s donation ceremony was attended by Dom Hetrakul (2nd row, 2nd from right), “Helmets for Kids” Goodwill Ambassador, together with representatives from AIP Foundation and the local government. Diversey Hygiene (Thailand) Co., Ltd. additionally donated a year’s supply of hand sanitizer and soap dispensers to the school to promote hygiene.
Sofitel Bangkok Silom supported (AIP) Foundation’s Helmets for Kids program since 2009 as Sofitel Bangkok Silom and Accor greatly values social awareness and responsibility. We will continue supporting this project to implement a massive road safety behavior change and public education campaign to kids in Thailand.
