The Diplomat Bar at The Conrad Bangkok welcomes new sensational swing jazz singer, Angela Stribling from Washington DC, who comes to lull her classical jazz, from now until 25 January 2011
Angela discovered her love for singing since the age of 4. Classically trained, she hones her jazz skills as various venues around the world including the world famous Blue Note in New York City. She has shared the stage with musical legends Stevie Wonder and Chaka Kahn. She sang for President Bill Clinton and Robert De Niro at a fundraiser in New York City for Congressman Charles Rangel. Her impression on tour in Europe and Asia happened in the year 2002 in the show of Hennessy Smooth and Mellow International Jazz tour in Burma. Now, her tours include China, France, Holland, India, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Japan and Thailand.
Angela has built a professional career as multimedia broadcaster and communicator, she has appeared in several films and television shows in America. Her credits include national radio and television campaigns for Mercedez-Benz, Prudential Life Insurance, Time Life, Colgate Simply White Toothpaste, and Folgers Coffee.
