On 1 December 2010, Thai AirAsia’s inaugural flights took off from Bangkok to New Delhi and Kolkata. Please find attached images of the event at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport along with photo captions below.
Image 4: Busaba Phusakul, Vice President of Special Affairs, from Airports Of Thailand (AOT) presents Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia with a bouquet on the occasion of Thai AirAsia’s inaugural flights from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Delhi and Kolkata. Thai AirAsia offers daily flights from Bangkok to Kolkata and 4 flights per week to Delhi. Due to high demand, flights from Bangkok-Delhi will be available daily starting from 14 December 2010.

Mr. Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty , Ambassador of India to Thailand and Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia. Both the Ambassador and CEO took part in welcoming passengers and giving out souvenirs which were provided by India Tourism.
