Bangkok--22 Dec--Sofitel Bangkok Silom
Sofitel Bangkok Silom welcomes French Chef Mathieu Astier from Priv? 249 of Sofitel Brisbane, Australia. An exclusive cooperation between the two renowned hotels to promote French inspired Australian Cuisine.
Chef Mathieu Astier is a French young and talented man who has been cooking since he was 16; he has worked with and been taught by some of the world’s greatest maestros of the kitchen, among them Regis Marcon and Joel Robuchon. For this exceptional event, Chef Mathieu Astier has prepared an equally tantalizing set menu paired with some of the most exquisite Australian wines and an A la Carte Menu coming right from Australia.
We invite you to taste his most delicious dishes which showcase the true authenticity of natural flavours such as Pig trotter “Compressed pork belly and trotters with Meaux mustard, parmesan and gribiche”, Lamb meat in “Rack off the bone filo crusted, panisse Nicoise with seasonal vegetables”, Quail with “Foie gras, corn, capsicums, honey soy glaze, pomme pur?e” or a “Spiced cr?me br?l?e” among many others.
Drop by into our extensive Wine Cellar with 150 imported wines from countries all over the world, where our sommelier will help you select the perfect bottle to compliment your tender lamb dishes or to take home. As usual, wines by the bottles are always available at retail prices.
Experience cool sounds selected by V9 DJs, ranging from Jazz, Lounge, Latin, to funky sounds and house. Prop at the long bar, sink into a soft chair or simply take a table for some excellent food and admire Bangkok’s skyline at V9 Wine Bar & Restaurant from the 37th floor of Sofitel Bangkok Silom, where “Life is Magnifique!”.
