Dr. Virachai Virameteekul, Minister of Science and Technology (centre) recently presided over the opening ceremony of “9th National Congress of Science, Technology and Innovation for Development” together with Professor Dr. Yongyuth Yuthavong, Former Minister of Science and Technology (right) and Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj, STI Policy Office secretary-general (left) at Grand Hall, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). This congress organised by National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office (STI) for provide comments and suggestion the first Science Technology and Innovation Plan of Thailand and also has “STI Thailand Award 2011” ceremony.
