Millennium Resort Patong Phuket (MRPP) celebrated the most beautiful season of the year in theme of “A Jolly Good Christmas”. At the resort’s Christmas gala dinner, Millennium presented the delightful Christmas carols from Thepamnuay Wittaya School and invited all guests to float “Wish candles” with children from Sussex House Orphanage across the hotels’ lobby pond as their special tradition. They prayed for their best wishes while sending their good will dedicated to those who had lost their lives through the 26 December Tsunami, the worst natural disaster to ever strike Thailand.
Mr. Peter D. Gibbons, General Manager also announced a continued effort towards the “Wishes to Share Project”- a caring campaign to bring some happiness into lives of unfortunate children. During 2010, The Millennium supported various programs for children of the Sussex House, such as organized educational programs, hosted outings to Splash Jungle in July, Island safari in November and a Christmas party at their foster home.
