In 2000, Claude Bosi opened Hibiscus in Ludlow, Shropshire, and seven years later, he relocated the now two Michelin-Starred and much lauded restaurant to London, where he has retained both stars and built on an excellent reputation for gourmet French cuisine. (www.hibiscusrestaurant.co.uk)
Born in Lyon, France, into a restaurateuring family, Claude completed his apprenticeship in his home city before moving to Paris where he worked at the celebrated Le Chiberta, then at Alain Passard’s L’Arpege, finally transferring to Alain Ducasse and Jean-Paul Lacombe before moving to England in 1997.
He established his reputation in Ludlow and during this time met his wife Claire. In 2000, together they opened Hibiscus, won the first Michelin star in 2001 and its second three years later. Chef Claude serves a delicious, seasonal and unmistakably Gallic menu and Hibiscus has been received as a welcome addition to the London restaurant scene ever since.
A few signature dishes include foie gras parfait, roast black bream stuffed with girolles, and confit leg of Brittany rabbit.
Chef Claude Bosi, and his team of assistants, will present his “French with a Twist” cuisine at La Scala, The Sukhothai Bangkok, at both lunch and dinner for 4 days only!!.
