LG DONATES 150,000 BAHT TO FOUNDATION FOR CHILDRENFROM ‘100,000 tweets, 100,000 messages of love’ campaign
LG Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd has presented a 150,000 baht donation to the Foundation for Children after Thailand’s first interactive campaign ‘100,000 tweets, 100,000 messages of love’. The donation will be used to expand life opportunities for underprivileged children and to improve their access to education.
As part of the campaign, consumers were invited to share a message of love for their mom and loved-ones via the LG Digital Tweet Board on the Siam Center rooftop. The number of posted messages was then turned into a donation. The campaign was part of LG’s commitment to contributing to the happiness of the Thai people, and adds to the company’s significant educational, environmental and sporting CSR contributions.
The LG Digital Tweet Board displays tweets and messages from consumers throughout the year. LG’s current campaign - ‘LG Gang Up to Korea’ — offers consumers the chance to win a trip to Korea and spending money for them and 9 friends, with entries closing on 31 January. More information about this and other campaigns can be found at www.lg.com/th/lgledwall.
