As reported by automotive manufacturers, Thailand's auto sales in 2011 are expected to soar 37% this year to 750,000 vehicles, helped by brisk economic growth. “This will be a defining year for V-KOOL? in Thailand, said Mr. Konton Jathurapattarapanit, Chief Executive Officer, V-KOOL Corporation Company Limited (V-KOOL Corp). He also opined that while Thailand’s auto sales in 2010 has grown by 45.8%, V-KOOL? business growth in terms of number of cars coated with V-KOOL? window film retrofits have grown by 50% and he aims to further raise the bar of excellence in 2011.
In conjunction with V-KOOL International (VKI), the global distributor of V-KOOL spectrally selective window films, V-KOOL Corp in Thailand have announced its corporate thrusts & market plans for FY 2011. The corporate thrusts will lay a strong foundation to catapult V-KOOL? to be the No. 1 Player in terms of sales and market share in the Thailand’s window film industry. As highlighted by Mr. Konton Jathurapattarapanit, the key corporate thrusts are:
A) CustomerCare:
- To deepen Customer Brand Experience
- To make available new product offerings continuously.
B) PartnerCare:
- To double PDI Sales Output and bring higher business growth to V-KOOL dealers
C) EnviroCare:
- To incorporate environmental management thinking as a business strategy
To operationalise the above corporate thrusts, Mr. Konton also announced to its dealers’ network on the official launch of the ONE WORLD programme. The programme aims to outline a strategic focus for V-KOOL Corp, dealers’ network & PDI partners to integrate and operate as “ONE WORLD” in a climate change era and forge a strong network identity. It aims to articulate that V-KOOL operates on One Voice, One Form to deliver innovative envirocare technologies, and unparallel services and value adding programmes that will impact our stakeholders such as the environment, business partners and the customer spectrum.
In terms of combating climate change, the green attributes of V-KOOL spectrally film series when retrofitted onto a car will derive: a) 3% fuel economy; b) 132 kg reduction in CO2 emissions per car per annum; & 25% faster for time to comfort for car drivers as compared to standard tinted glasses. Mr Tommy Yeo, Regional Manager, V-KOOL International, said that “car owners in Thailand will be able to reduce their carbon footprints while enjoying a piece of the V-KOOL EnviroCare technology incorporated onto the glasses of the automobile.”
