The launch of “CAPPRA” by CAPP GROUP to boost men’s health

CAPP GROUP, a company of new generation trying to use innovation to upgrade eastern herb to the global forum under the concept of “ENRICHING LIFE”, is launching “CAPPRA”, its first product for the niche market for all men young and old. This product launch is based on the research result indicating that there is still a high demand in the market, in which the consumers expect to see the medical products which are reliable, effective, and safe. The Company believed that it has no competitor in the market and expected to reach over 120 million Baht sales for the first year. The overall global medical market trend is more interested in chemical-free herbs, with the total market value of over 30 billion USD. Besides, the growth of herbal market is 30% in Europe and 20% in the USA. CAPP GROUP expected that it could reach the position of Number 1 in Asia within 3 years.
According to Dr. Numkrit Jeraputiruk, Managing Director and shareholder of C.A.P.P. GROUP (Thailand) Co. ltd., CAPP GROUP is a company that is in cooperation with a profit-free organization called CIRD (CAPP Institute of Research and Development, together with research teams from prestige universities and academic agencies from the government sector in order to find clarity and certainty in medical action of eastern herbs in order to further development according to the qualification required.
“CAPPRA” is the first product from 4 production lines of CAPP GROUP. It is a niche product for males aged between 30-50 years old who have problems from kidney function and blood circulation systems. The effect will be distinguished among men in big society who work hard all day but still want to take better care of their love ones. With regular consumption, body’s circulation system is improved, and the whole body functions better.

As for CAPPRA’s distribution channel, CAPP GROUP will establish its own sales and marketing team. Dr. Numkrit perceived that each medical product was like one’s children. If we can take care of them by ourselves, or if we can give information to agents or drug stores all over the country, it seems like the information comes directly from parents. In contrast, if we leave it in the hands of those who have to take care of several products, they may not give enough attention to our product. In general, there are approximately 15,000 drugstores countrywide, among them there are approximately 2,000 targeted stores.
The target groups include drugstores in communities, tourist spots, and big provinces at the ratio of 50-60%. Approximately 20% will be sold to modern trade channel, such as Boots and Watson, while the other 20% will be sold through CALL CENTER, through which there are personnel to provide information about our products directly. Our partner for the latter channel includes TV Direct, apart from e-commerce and web sites.
As for export market, Dr. Numkrit stated that CAPP already discuss with its partner to channek the target to the middle-east, which is 30 times larger than Thai market. Besides, there are alos South East Asia market, which has been familiar with the use of herb. The US market also has tremendous consumption and has a good trend, as well as the European and Australian markets in the future.
“Now we got JETRO to take care of the matching with businessmen in Japan. Each of them is interesting because JETRO has screened for us to a certain level. I expect that we can enter Japan market soon.” Finally, Dr. Numkrit said that the goal of CAPP GROUP was to be the leader of eastern medicine in Thailand and Asia.
The Company will also organize an event to launch “CAPPRA” and to give CAPPRA Smart Guy Award for men in various areas. For example, the Best Singer award will be given to Dome Pakorn Lum, Best MC award to Woody, Best Athlete award to Buakhao Por Pramuk, K-1 boxing champ, Best Actor to Pong Nawat, and Best Executive to Todd, Piti Pirom. This is for the purpose of brand enhancement.
