TMA organizes major event “TMA DAY 2011: CEO Perspectives on Future Challenges” at the Crystal Hall, Plaza Athenee Hotel, Bangkok during 8.00 — 16.30 hours.
“TMA DAY 2011: CEO Perspectives on Future Challenges” is a one-day seminar with a program that covers all important management disciplines. The presentations and discussions in each session will provide insights on the rapidly changing economic and business environment at the country, regional, and global level, the challenges and complexity resulted from these changes, and how to cope and capitalize on these challenges and complexity.
The sessions include keynote speeches, presentations, and panel discussions by distinguished speakers namely, a keynote speech by Mr. Dusit Nontanakorn, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand on “Thailand Challenges 2011”, follow by a panel discussion on “Preparing for Thailand’s Strategic Challenges”, participated by respectable speakers namely, Mr.Tevin Vongvanich Chief Financial Officer PTT Public Company Limited, Mr.Kobchai Chirathivat President and Chief Executive Officer Central Pattana Public Company Limited and Mr.Thiraphong Chansiri President Thai Union Frozen Product Public Company Limited. The session is moderated by Mr.Pana Janviroj President The Nation.
In addition, there are five presentations made by distinguished speakers in five specialize disciplines, Financial, Trading and Investment, Marketing, Production and Operation management, Information Technology, and Human Resource Management. The presentation topics include a presentation on “CEO Agenda on Dealing with Complexity” which provides a perspective on key agenda to be focused on in managing an organization the world of increasing complexity by Mr.Prasert Bunsumpun President & Chief Executive Officer PTT Company Limited, a presentation on “Business Opportunities from Digital Revolution” which provides insights on how to utilize and capitalize opportunities emerge from the convergence of information and communication technology by Mr.Somprasong Boonyachai CEO Shin Corporation Public Limited Company. Another presentation will be made by Ms.Suphajee Suthumpun, General Manager, Global Technology Services (GTS) IBM ASEAN to share her perspective in leadership challenges in the world of complexity, and how to lead creatively on “Creative Leadership in a Complex World”, followed by a presentation on “Global Trading : Challenges and Opportunities” which provide a view on opportunity, trend, and challenges in the trading business from the SMEs to global firms, shared by Mr.Karin Sarasin Managing Director SCG Trading Co., Ltd. Lastly, Mr.Tassapon Bijleveld Chief Excecutive Officer Thai Air Asia Co., Ltd is presenting on “Marketing Innovation for Interconnected Markets”, to share his thought on marketing innovation for the ASEAN, and global market.
