Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Janmejoy Sen as its new Indian Chef. The appointment is effectively immediately.
Chef Sen is a graduate of Hotel Management, Catering, Technology and Applied Nutrition from the Indian Institute of Business Management.
Previous appointments include Senior Sous Chef at The Imperial, New Delhi, a property renowned as the second best hotel in India and on the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler ‘Gold List’. Chef Sen was also Chef de Cuisine at The Shangri-La New Delhi with responsibility for the main kitchen and banquets.
Chef Sen’s exceptional knowledge of Indian cuisine includes special tandoor dishes and the regional cooking of north India, Awadhi, Hydrabad, Bengal, Goa and Rajasthan.
Chef Sen looks forward to introducing guests to authentic Indian cuisine and contributing to the further success of Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit.
