Mr. Ranjith Chandrasiri, Deputy General Manager of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group and President of the Royal Cliff Wine Club proudly announced the repositioning of the famous five star Wine Club to celebrate its 10th anniversary earlier this month.
Loyal members and friends were the first to view the brand new logo and personality of the newly named “deVine” Wine Club which echoes the character and concept of wine clubs’ popular status, events and special guests over the years. The Wine Clubs’ new look reflects the new “State of Exclusivity and Fascination” of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group in a brand enhancement campaign that has already changed the face of the resort.
In celebration, Mr. Ranjith Chandrasiri gathered members of the wine club for a special Gala Dinner at the prestigious Royal Grill Room & Wine Cellar — Excellence & Heritage at the beautiful Royal Cliff Beach Hotel — co-sponsored by Bangkok Beer & beverage Co. Ltd., - featuring the multi award winning Joseph Phelps wines.
Mr. Robert Baxter from Joseph Phelps wines was welcomed to the stage prior to a delicious selection of epicurean cuisine to congratulate ‘deVine’ Wine Club and enlighten avid guests of his optimum collection of fine wines featured during the Gala Dinner.
A total of 9 varieties of wines were served that evening offering wine lovers the opportunity to savour some of the best wines from California. ‘Insignia’, recognized as the world’s greatest and triumphed as the “Wine of the Year” by the Wine Spectator Magazine was the star of the evening.
Since its inception in 2001, the famous ‘deVine’ Wine Club has exceeded its goal in being the most popular union in Thailand for avid wine lovers from all over the world. In its 10 years, many events have taken place at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group inviting most distinguished wine personalities from around the world.
