Join us on Friday, February 25, 2011 at a special Fabulous Spanish Fiesta with celebrated Spanish winemaker Telmo Rodriguez in the chic surroundings of Zest Bar & Terrace, The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok.
Telmo Rodriguez is one of Spain’s most celebrated winemakers renowned for producing modern and approachable wines. His rise to fame began about ten years ago, when he was the winemaker at Remelluri, a winery in Rioja owned by his father. He went on to work at several high-profile chateaus, including Cos d’Estournel, and also worked in the Rh๔ne Valley for the great G้rard Chave. Today, Telmo’s appealing and artfully packaged wines are made using biodynamic methods, respecting nature and taking advantage of natural elements throughout the vineyard and the winery.
Wine lovers at the special Friday Unwind Fiesta will have the chance to meet the innovative winemaker in person and enjoy a balanced selection of seven of his delectable wines from different wine producing regions in Spain. The wines will include 2009 BASA Blanco DO Rueda, Telmo Rodriguez, Spain and 2009 GABA DO XIL Godello Valdeorras, Galicia, Telmo Rodriguez, Spain for white wine and 2008 Al Muvedre Tinto Joven DO, Telmo Rodriguez, Alicante, Spain and 2008 "g" Dehesa Gago DO Toro, Telmo Rodriguez, Spain for red wine.
A variety of delicious Spanish tapas will also be offered to guest to compliment Telmo’s excellent wines. Themed decoration and Spanish music will add to the relaxed ambience.
The Friday Unwind Fiesta will be held at Zest Bar & Terrace from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2011. Guests will enjoy seven satisfying wines in the restful surroundings of our contemporary bar for just Baht 500 net, including a variety of Spanish tapas.
Following the tasting, all wines will be available for purchase at Zest Bar & Terrace.
