Petroleum engineers team from PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP won the 1st Thailand Exploration and Production Award 2010 from Society of Petroleum Engineers Thailand (SPE Thailand). Dr. Songpope Polachan (The 1st right), Director General of the Department of Mineral Fuels (DMF) recently presented the award to PTTEP representative, Mr. Wiwit Sumritwatchasai (The second on the right) for Wellhead Platform Standardization project. The idea is to unitize the petroleum wellhead platforms’ specification and facility design enable the most effective construction resource usage, and to minimize the environmental impact. It is another earmarked success of Thai energy explorers in contributing new technology design and of PTTEP to be globally recognized in the Oil and Gas industry.
