Fresh from wining both the Manufacturer’s and Driver’s titles in the 2010 World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), a Chevrolet Cruze WTCC Two-Seater was brought to Thailand in which the Thai and ASEAN media were driven around the BIRA Racing Circuit by none other than the World Champion himself, Mr. Yvan Muller. For the benefit of the public, Chevrolet Sales Thailand also put a Chevrolet Cruze WTCC show-car on display at a public event at Central World recently.
The Chevrolet Cruze WTCC race-car, two-seater and show-car are all built on a standard production Cruze platform — the same Cruze platform one will find in all Chevrolet showrooms around the world.
Amongst other Chevrolet flagship models, the Chevrolet Cruze WTCC show-car will also be displayed in the upcoming 32nd Bangkok International Motor Show at Challenger 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, from 25 March to 5 April 2011.
