Bangkok--10 Mar--Bangkok Charity Orchestra
The Bangkok Charity Orchestra, the first and only orchestra in Thailand to be fully committed to performing 100% for charity foundations, will be celebrating its first anniversary with a charity concert on Thursday 17 March 2011 at the Henri Dunant Hall, The Royal Bangkok Sports Club at 7.30pm. The entire proceeds from ticket sales, no reductions of any kinds, will go to support projects of SOS Children’s Villages Thailand. The programme will include Rossini: “The Barber of Seville” Overture, and Beethoven: Symphony No. 7 in A major. Jun Komatsu, a renowned Japanese pianist, will perform Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 1 on this special occasion. The concert will be conducted by Chulayuth Lochotinan.
