How many of us notice or are aware of the great variety of shell life everywhere in the big ocean? Shells are indeed extraordinary animal, being able to adapt themselves to any environment and surroundings perfectly.
Changing its seashell to fit its habitat, queer formations and shapes are created which gives the shells the precious association of being the diamonds of the sea.
This summer, Siam Ocean World reviews the spectacular story of Shelldons Real Ocean Adventure, featuring the famous and well known Thai animation character Shelldon and his friends. Shelldon is the first animated shell cartoon character, concerning for environmental protection issues and the preservation of underwater life, narrating his adventurous stories. The intention of Siam Ocean World’s Shelldon Real Ocean Adventure activities is to create awareness among the visiting children in order to induce the importance of protecting underwater creature, encouraging them to join together to preserve underwater life for their future
Siam Ocean World made it possible to bring the famous and beloved cartoon characters alive and real, under the water in the middle of a busy and vibrant city. This allowed children to share the enthralling adventures of Shelldon and his friends.
The opening ceremony offered a spectacular and thrilling performance of Shelldon and his friends to the visitors, as well as an exciting presentation of the famous MC Kalamare (Patcharasri Banjamas), the synchronizer of the cartoon character Mrs. Prim, a former under water beauty.
Mr. Ross Werner, Deputy General Manager of Siam Ocean World said, “Siam Ocean World, coordinating with Shell Hut Entertainment, created an outstanding activity for this coming summer break, to entertain children and their families while enjoying the heady underwater life with Sheldon and his friends.
With the attractive performance from the exclusive episode of Shelldon’s Real Ocean Adventure, created especially for Siam Ocean World and Shelldons fan clubs, Siam Ocean World provides great fun as well as education and knowledge about shells and underwater life.
The outstanding highlight of this campaign is the underwater performance combining a state of art underwater synchronizes dance and stage play, which narrated the thrilling adventures of Shelldon and his friends. Both, underwater performance and stage play was included to enrich the special performance. A surprise visit of Mr. Por (Tisadee Sahawong), a famous Thai actor and the voice of Shelldon, enhanced the special day by moderating the play
Siam Ocean World also opened the display of a unique shell exhibition “Jewel of the Sea” interactive exhibition, supported by Mr. Jom Patamakanthin, a collector and enthusiast of shells. Mr. Jom Patamakanthin kindly provided rare and uniquely beautiful shells from The Phuket Seashell Museum, to be on display at Siam Ocean World, making it possible for the children and visitors to take a look at and arise the understanding of the importance of shells and underwater creatures.

For those of you who desperately want to meet Shelldon and his friends directly, Siam Ocean World provides a special package of Bt. 590 for adults and Bt. 490 for children including the Siam Ocean World entrance ticket, a special meet & Greet picture taking activity with Shelldon, a glass bottom boat through the aquarium as well as a CD featuring the exclusive Shelldon episode.

The underwater and stage play “Shelldon’s Real Ocean Adventure” will be performed at the Ocean Theatre area 3 times a day at 11.30 / 14.00 / 15.30 and one additional show at 17.00 on weekends and public holidays.
The second show “Shell dance” taking place at Rocky Shore will be performed four times a day at 11.00, 13.00, 14.45, 17.45 and one additional show at 18.30 on weekends and public holiday.
