Dusit International’s hotels in Chiang Mai support the sustainable tourism by introducing the world-class organic coffee from Doi Chaang, which is the 100% natural arabica coffee from North of Thailand to show the environmental commitment to its community.
Starting from March 2011, dusitD2 chiang mai and Royal Princess Chiang Mai will be serving Doi Chaang Organic Coffee, which is a Single-Estate with naturally low in caffeine at every restaurant of both hotels. Doi Chaang Organic Coffee is certified by USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) Organic or USDA’s National Organic Programme with the global organic guarantee from Italy to ensure the consistency of quality and optimal taste.
Environmentally, organic coffee production reduces the usage of toxic chemicals including those pesticides and fertilisers. As an alternative, they are making the use of systems to refill the soil and also maintain the fertility. The result is producing coffee with better taste and higher quality. Organic coffee grows reward up to 50 percent more of the vitamins, antioxidants and minerals that the body needs.
Doi Chaang Organic Coffee is now avaliable at Mix bar and Moxie restaurant at dusitD2 chiang mai, while Royal Princess Chiang Mai is presenting Doi Chaang Organic Coffee at Garden Caf้, Jasmine Chinese Restaurant and Lobby Bar.
