Emmanuel College Chapel Choir is a mixed-voice choir of around 20 undergraduates and graduates from Emmanuel College and other colleges within the University of Cambridge. Its primary function is to sing at the two choral services that are held weekly in the Chapel of Emmanuel College, during which the choir performs a repertoire that ranges from Renaissance motets to contemporary music. Their training and direction is undertaken by Director of Chapel Music, Richard Latham, and the Senior Organ Scholar July Verkade, whose family live in Bangkok. Her sister Joanna is a student at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok. Emmanuel College Chapel Choir, affectionately known as the Emma Choir, tours throughout the UK and around the world performing at churches, cathedrals and music festivals. In recent years they have performed at Southwark Cathedral and St Bartholomew the Great Church, both in London, and at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin. They have undertaken a high profile tour at the Festival de M?xico and in 2009 travelled to the US to perform at Harvard University. The choir's most recent recording, with Priory Records, is 'From Generation to Generation' which pairs renaissance and contemporary settings of well-known liturgical texts. The choir has also recorded a number of other CDs, including 'Veni, Veni Emmanuel' (Christmas Carols from Emmanuel College) on ASV and 'The Choir of Emmanuel College, Cambridge' on Opera Omnium. สอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม โทร. 02 307 8888 Ext 2602 Wuttichai
