Bangkok--28 Mar--KTC
KTC takes KTC World Lifestyle Workshop into the fourth year following positive reception from earlier years. The workshop will feature four categories of activities: Photography, Arts and DIY, Health and Beauty and Web Technology to correspond to the needs of a more diverse group of members. A full schedule of 120 workshops is prepared for the year.
Ms. Janejit Ladpli, Vice President of Travel and Leisure Marketing, KTC or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, said “KTC World Lifestyle Workshop” was first conceived in 2007 to benefit KTC World Community members. We will be promoting businesses whose owners seek marketing and publicity support or a channel through which they can access the target customers. This will allow our members to bring themselves up to date with lifestyle trends. And at the same time we will have the chance to interact with and listen to what our members have to say about service requirements as well.”
“KTC World Lifestyle Workshop” will feature activities under four categories. Photography will include Basic Photography, Perspective Techniques and Digital Retouching. Arts and DIY will teach you how to make crafts such as knitting, scrapbooks, flower arrangement, painting, children’s food and health food. Health and Beauty will have make-up course for the different occasions, personality improvement and tea-making. The last category, Web Technology, will show to develop blogs and Facebook pages for your business purposes.”
“We have conducted over 70 workshops so far with the help of around 30 partners. They were well received by our members and as such we are accommodating future interest with adequate space, facility and technology. Our partners will have the chance to co-conduct workshops for our members across the country.”
“KTC World Lifestyle Workshop” is not a strictly commercial endeavor. What we want to have is gurus who will introduce innovative ideas and techniques to our members. We will tie this workshop program to our other partners as well such as Thailand Boutique Awards hotels to give members a different experience. Members will have a chance to take underwater photography course at Siam Ocean World, nighttime photography at a beachside resort, tea-making class at a boutique resort in Kao Yai or a painting course at Chakrabongse Palace. Our workshop will encourage family members to spend time together and not to pursue them as a way to generate revenue. We expect to conduct a total of 120 workshops this year or an average of ten per month with broader range of recreation being covered.”
