Electrolux Thailand led by Khun Sutti Manokitjarunman, General Manager of Electrolux Thailand, led the Electrolux employees showed their support for “60 Earth Hour 2011 Plus” activity hosted by Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in partnership with WWF Thailand. This activity aims to encourage people from all sectors to join hand and switch off the unnecessary electricity for one hour on Saturday 26th March 2011.
Participation in “60 Earth Hour 2011 Plus” activity is one of the Electrolux’s ongoing Green Spirit activities which aims to direct employees and customers to reduce energy consuming as well as support them to take action. In addition to the one hour electricity switch off activity, the company has also cultivated the mindset in energy saving to their employees continuously by several ways including walking up — down stairs in stead of using elevator and unplug the electric equipments after using it.
The 60 Earth Hour 2011 Plus activity, scheduled to be held on March 26th 2011 during 20.30 — 21.30 hrs. Let’s shows spirit to reduce the global warming by switching off the unnecessary electricity for one hour for our beloved world.
