Bangkok--29 Mar--Spark Communications Legendary Australian lifestyle brand Insight visits Bangkok in April as part of its Global Garage Art Campaign featuring works by Insight’s own Creative Art Director, Steve Gorrow. The huge exhibition has now travelled to Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai before coming to Bangkok. As one of the masterminds behind some of the best campaigns the fashion industry has ever seen, Bangkok is about to see a self chosen selection of some of Gorrow’s favourite works. Influenced by popular culture, Gorrow’s style is pop/street art coined ‘Garage Art’. “The Garage Art program initiated by Insight is one I am so proud to be a part of and I am thrilled it is coming to Bangkok as part of the Asian tour. Creating the Garage Art program as a platform for other artists is Insight’s nod of appreciation to artists — this means a new breed of art and culture coming through that is full of life and less about rules. Garage Art is art for our generation,” said Gorrow. Throughout the Asian leg of the global tour the brand’s parties following each exhibition have been attended by some of the region’s leading fashion and culture creatives. “The first three stops of the Insight Garage Art Asian Tour set a very high standard and will take some matching, but we are really excited to be bringing the tour to Bangkok, one of Asia’s most fashionable and creative cities,” said Drew Down, Insight’s co-founder.
