Delegates from the 24 Asia-Pacific countries are meeting in Bangkok from 30 to 31 March 2011 to review progress and challenges to the region’s efforts to ensure access to HIV services for all
The Asia Pacific Regional Consultation on Universal Access to HIV Treatment, Care and Support brings together 200 representatives from governments, the United Nations, development partners and communities most affected by HIV.
The meeting is timed with the launch by the UN Secretary-General on 31 March 2011 in Nairobi, Kenya, of his report on HIV/AIDS in preparation for the 2011 United Nations General Assembly High Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS.
