AirAsia and Transport Company Limited respond to flood crisis- free shuttle service from Surat Thani Airport to Nakhon Si Thammarat for passengers.

Bangkok--30 Mar--AirAsia Flights can also be re-routed to alternative airports with no extra charge. Due to the current flood situation, the Nakhon Si Thammarat airport is temporarily closed until further notice. AirAsia passengers who are scheduled to travel on the Bangkok-Nakhon Si Thammarat-Bangkok flights may choose from one of the options below. 1. Passengers who need to urgently travel from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat may do so via Surat Thani airport. AirAsia, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Aviation and Transport Company Limited, has arranged for bus transportation from Surat Thani airport to Nakhon Si Thammarat at no extra charge. Drop-off point at Nakhon Si Thammarat is at the Twin Lotus Hotel. Passengers must notify staff at the AirAsia check-in counter if they wish to choose this option. 2. Passengers who have confirmed bookings to travel the Bangkok-Nakhon Si Thammarat-Bangkok route during 31 March 2011 may choose the following options. a. Passengers may change their travel route to an alternative airport at no additional charge. Airports that passengers may choose to re-route to include Surat Thani, Phuket, Hat Yai, Narathiwat. Passengers will be able to use this privilege up to 30 days from their original date of travel. b. Passengers may also opt to cancel their travel plans in return for a credit shell of the original ticket price. The credit must be used within 90 days from the original date of travel.
