Mr. Prasert Bunsumpun, CEO of PTT Plc., presides over the signing ceremony of the extended contract for operating the convenience store in PTT gas station in nationwide for 10 years between Mr.Prajya Phinyawat, Chief Operating Officer, Downstream Petroleum Business Group, PTT Public Company Limited, together with Mr. Piyawat Titasattavorakul, Managing Director, CP ALL Public Company Limited and operator of 7-ELEVEN.
Prajya said that PTT has continuously focused on Innovation of Products & Services in PTT gas station to transform a gas station from a place for filling up the tank into “PTT Life Station”. In addition to the latest product quality improvement of “PTT Blue Innovation”, PTT tries to make PTT station as a One Stop Service to meet all customer needs and lifestyle with varieties of retail stores such as convenient store, Caf? Amazon, Procheck and other retail partners. CP ALL is ranking as No.1 strategic partner in convenient store business which has run 7-Eleven store in PTT station since 2003. Along these 8 years, 100 branches have been added every year up to 880 branches nowadays or approximately 85% of PTT station in the country. Moreover, the consumer satisfaction survey of 7-Eleven stores in PTT Station shows the highest level continuously. PTT aims to expanding more 300 stores with CP All by 2015.
Piyawat said that the 10-years renewal will support both PTT and 7-ELEVEN to facilitate the customers with continuous services. Moreover, 7-ELEVEN is the popular convenience store because of the efficiency in selecting and delivering various services round the clock that would enhance sales and services in PTT gas stations. This contract benefits PTT, 7-ELEVEN and the customers, especially the traveler since we have products that meet their demands which are ‘ready to eat’ food and beverages. 7-ELEVEN has adjusted selling point to be the convenience food store that mainly serves food and beverages continuously.
“Nowadays, 7-ELEVEN has almost 6,000 stores around country and we have the target to open new store about 450-500 stores a year. The stores in PTT gas stations make us accomplish the target with efficiency,” Piyawat said.
