Bangkok--30 Mar--The Sukhothai Bangkok
Mr. Masato Kohtani, Director of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., in cooperation with Ms. Kumiko Ninomiya, Director of Umami Information Center (UIC), recently arranged a nutrition seminar entitled “Umami Live in Bangkok by Chef Shimomura” at the Ballroom, The Sukhothai Bangkok.
The seminar provided information about Umami, the fifth basic taste, with a lecture by Mr. Eugene Imm, Umami Specialist from UIC, along with a cooking demonstration by Mr. Koji Shimomura, a famous Japanese chef who is an expert in French cuisine. The honored special guests were Chef Chamnong Nirangsan, the president of Thai Chef Association, Chef McDang - M.L. Sirichalerm Swasdiwat. The activity was participated in by chefs, food experts, and mass media, altogether 60 persons.
