Event celebrates launch of direct services between FedEx Asia-Pacific Hub and India
David Carden, managing director of FedEx Thailand and Indochina recently joined FedEx executives and employees in hosting more than 250 FedEx customers and their families at an exciting Indian-themed ‘We live to Deliver’ luncheon.
Featuring Bollywood tunes and a mini concert by singer Mum Laconic, dance performances by ‘live’ mannequins, and fun games and giveaways, the event was part of ongoing celebrations to mark the launch of direct A310 flights connecting FedEx Asia Pacific Hub with India for the first time.
This new route offers connectivity between the fastest-growing consumer markets in the world. Customers shipping from the rest of Asia to Mumbai will benefit from a superfast overnight document service to selected postal codes in Mumbai.
Other improvements include deliveries up to two days earlier for FedEx International Priority?,
FedEx International Priority? Freight, and FedEx International Economy? shipments to
Mumbai, Bangalore, and New Delhi.
“The new FedEx service to India gives us a great opportunity for celebration with our customers,” said David Carden. “The Indian theme made it a fun and colorful event and we look forward to more service improvements and occasions such as this when we can get together informally with our customers and their families to thank them for their support.”
