On Friday 1 April 2011, Dusit Princess Srinakarin, Bangkok is organising the Charity Fair inviting all guests, clients, and its community to join the fundraiser for Japanese residents who have been affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami. All the monetary donations raised will be presented to the Japan Red Cross by the Japanese Association in Thailand.
The Charity Fair is a part of Japan & Dusit - Friends Forever appeal - a charity to raise funds and make contributions for Japan earthquake intiated by Dusit International. The initiative includes many fun activities:
- Princess Bazaar - selling various items such as jewellery, crystals, clothing, and accessories, starting from 10am - 9pm
- Fortunetelling - 17 of Thailand’s most renowned fortunetellers will be joining the event, starting from 3pm - 9pm
- Garage Sales - Dusit Princess Srinakarin’s management and staff will be selling pre-loved items and organising many activities such as food for charity, fun corner, and much more, starting from 3pm - 9pm
In addition to these activities on the Charity Fair day, the hotel’s Miyuki Lounge and Restaurant will donate all the profit generated on that day to the charity, whereas guests at Square One Caf? will also be able to make the contribution of every THB 200 per bill that will goes to this fund raising initiative.
