TMB Bank Public Company Limited (TMB) has issued a special assistance package to individual and SME customers affected by the current devastating situation caused flash flood in the southern part of Thailand to help alleviate the burden of customers accelerate their recovery. The Bank has also set up a bank account for members of the public to donate money to help flood victims.
Under the special assistance package, affected individual customers with existing secured loans, mainly housing loan, with the Bank may opt to pay only the incurred interest for a period of up to six months. Meanwhile, unsecured loan or term installment personal loan (Cash 2 Go) customers may choose to pay only the incurred interest for up to three months or request for loan tenure extension for up to three months.
For flood-affected SME customers, the Bank is offering an option of loan tenure extension of up to six months. Approval will be based on customer needs and the Bank’s consideration. In addition, the Bank will also provide additional funds to support customers’ working capital to aid their recovery. TMB SME customers wishing to get support from the Bank for this special relief package are advised to contact SME relationship managers at relevant TMB SME Zone Offices.
Realizing the immediate need for assistance and the public readiness to join the flood relief drive, TMB has set up a bank account and invite members of the public who wish to help to make donation to “Donation for Flood Relief Account.”, no. 001-9-11681-3, TMB Bank, Paholyothin Branch. All donations will be presented to the victims of flood in the south for emergency relief efforts. Donation may be made via TMB branch counters without any transfer fees.
