Bangkok--1 Apr--AirAsia
The flood situation in URT is getting worse, road trip to NST isnt as convenient as it was, earlier this week. Hence, passengers from BKK should NO LONGER be advised to travel to NST via URT's road trip.
Pls see below the updated message for external communications:
Due to flood situation in southern Thailand, extreme conditions have caused difficulties in road transportation. Nakhon Si Thammarat airport still remains closed. Bus services previously offered by the Public Transport Company from Surat Thani airport to Nakhon Si Thammarat town are no longer available as some roads are not accessible.
Passengers who have plans to travel to Nakhon Si Thammarat or Surat Thani between today and 4 April 2011 have the following options:
1. Passengers may change their travel route to an alternative airport at no additional charge. Airports that passengers may choose to re-route to include Phuket, Hat Yai, and Narathiwat. Passengers will be able to use this privilege up to 30 days from their original date of travel.
2. Passengers may also opt to cancel their travel plans in return for a credit shell of the original ticket price. The credit must be used within 90 days from the original date of travel.
We apologize for any inconvenience you may encounter during this difficult time. We will continue to do our best to resume our services as soon as possible. For more information and flight amendment request please contact our call centre at 02 515 9999
