International Data Corporation (IDC) is pleased to announce that its annual IDC-Enterprise Innovation Awards, in partnership with Enterprise Innovation Magazine is now open for nomination. The awards are a tremendous opportunity to promote your organization’s ICT excellence and showcase the brilliance of your ICT department/organization to your peers across Asia/Pacific.
Executed strategically, an organization’s ICT platform can be the biggest positive contributor to the success of the firm. IDC is now looking for companies that are using ICT in innovative ways to build a sustainable, competitive advantage for the business. IDC-Enterprise Innovation Awards are open to all organizations in any sector (except ICT vendors) in all Asia/Pacific countries. Projects that are rolled out in 2010/2011, completed in 2010/2011 or scheduled for completion in January 2012 will be considered. Winners will be unveiled at the annual IDC's Asia/Pacific CIO Summit, which will take place in eight major cities across Asia/Pacific between June to August 2011.
IDC welcomes all CIOs and line of business managers to submit their nominations and participate in IDC's Asia/Pacific Dynamic IT Benchmark 2011 Survey. Final results of the study will also be revealed at IDC's regional CIO Summit. All participants in the survey will receive a summary of results.
In its 5th year, IDC will award one winner per country as well as a single Asia/Pacific CIO of the year winner selected from winner country submissions. Country winners will be assessed against a number of factors including the business imperatives for the initiative, alignment of business and IT goals, general innovative nature of the initiative and overall impact on the business. For the CIO of the Year award, the winner will be selected for strong IT leadership qualities, industry contribution and overall impact on the winner's organisation.

The purpose of IDC's Asia/Pacific Dynamic IT Benchmark 2011 survey is to understand how organizations in Asia/Pacific are refreshing their IT methodologies and tools in order to compete more effectively. It seeks to identify emerging trends, methodologies and hot focus areas that are relevant for business and IT executives in this region. Every year, there are over 400 Asia/Pacific CIOs from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam participated in this survey.
