Bangkok--7 Apr--Vivaldi
Property Care Services (Thailand) Ltd., Thailand’s leading Total Facilities Management Company and an associate company of OCS Group Limited, the largest privately owned international facilities provider in the UK, is to spearhead OCS Group plans for growth in Asia. PCS Thailand has been appointed Regional Operations Headquarters for the region. Central to the group’s plans for aggressive expansion, Thailand will serve as the headquarters for Asia and the Middle East.
Hosted by PCS Thailand, OCS held its Group Board of Directors meeting in Bangkok, stressing the importance of Thailand and Asia in its global strategy. It is the first time the meeting has been held outside of the UK in 111 years. OCS Group discussed its new business strategies to expand its total facility management services throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Chris Cracknell, CEO of OCS Group, said “OCS is keen to push the boundaries in terms of scope of services, and in the quality of those services, and the Group has made Asia its primary focus area. The wealth of possibility which Asia offers ties in very well with OCS’s current strategy.” He added, “PCS Thailand will be at the forefront of this Asia expansion policy, and we are totally confident that PCS is able to lead the way.”
PCS in Thailand is the market leader, with more than 23,000 employees, operating through 14 branches nationwide, serving 5,000 clients, ranging from SMEs to high profile conglomerates. Thailand is now the hub for the markets of Malaysia, Cambodia, Bangladesh and India.
Heather Suskem, Group Managing Director, Property Care Services (Thailand) stated, “We keenly accept the group’s vision for a strategy of expansion, which will ensure that PCS grows to become one of the leading Total Facilities Management companies across Asia. We are committed to the understanding of this great responsibility, and of our customers’ own designs on growth.”
PCS Thailand’s business activities in the region centre on the concept of allowing clients to focus on their core business by outsourcing time-consuming and potentially problematic facility maintenance concerns. PCS continues to increase its offering of Total Facility Management solutions, and maintains crucial focus on the training and development of its specialist staff.
A key strategic focus for 2011 is on the creation of alliance partnerships with successful businesses which are able to broaden PCS’s range of services, coupled with organic growth from the Thai market in the short and long term. PCS will continue to promote Total Facility Management to clients who currently use individual services, and also respond to the quick-paced property development market, where opportunities for growth are abundant. The Total Facilities Management Joint Venture in Vietnam will begin soon, followed by similar initiatives in Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia.
PCS has been providing a whole range of facility services in Thailand, including cleaning, security, Cannon Washroom Hygiene, gardening, Catering, and Pest Management. PCS’s services also encompass resource planning management to help customers to plan their electricity and water consumption in order to reduce costs. The company recently partnered M&C Energy and Comin Thai Engineering Solutions, giving PCS a unique platform from which to develop this range of bespoke resource management services.
