Bangkok--8 Apr--VIE Hotel VIE Hotel Bangkok in collaboration with Thailand Professionals Club, Luxury Network, and Carpediem Galleries, bring you a very special charity event in May, “Sipping Wine, Viewing Art and Body Canvas”. You are invited to network while you enjoy quality wines, viewing art and body painting. Artists’ bio: Chatchawan Rodklongtan’s detailed gold work on black is widely sought after. At first sight, his work resembles Neilloware, an ancient craft of applied lacquer and gold on black paintwork. The artist has pushed this skill further, taking the form from mere tableware and cupboard doors to boldly worked screens on canvas. As a graduate from Silaphkorn University’s Faculty of Decorative Arts, Theerapon Rurngpaisitporn. He has conducted countless successful art exhibitions including the recent, ‘Thai Nouveau’ at Carpediem Galleries, Bangkok. His works have received Bangkok Art Directors’ Association Awards three times. Pearapong Khireewong is an extremely skilled artist from southern Thailand. He has held numerous exhibitions as a group and a solo artist. Pearapong’s unique projects have both concrete and abstract perspectives, and are strangely moving. Bernie's articles were widely published and his culinary knowledge highly respected throughout the hospitality industry. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the education of Bernie’s son, Jack.
