Anantara appoints Melanie Smith as General Manager for Anantara Bangkok Sathorn

Bangkok--18 Apr--Anantara Hotels Resorts and Spas Anantara Hotels Resorts and Spas is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Melanie Smith as General Manager of the new Anantara Bangkok Sathorn, the company’s first city hotel. With twin towers reaching 37 floors, Anantara Bangkok Sathorn is a superb new landmark in the capital’s central business and entertainment districts, which is poised to offer business and leisure guests a new level of integrated luxury. Melanie joins Anantara from Eaton Hotel Hong Kong where she most recently held the role of Hotel Manager, a position she has overseen since March 2008. Prior to Eaton hotel, Melanie worked as Hotel Manager for Langham Place Eco Resort and Spa in Koh Lanta, Krabi, as well as managerial roles with Crowne Plaza and Star City Hotel in Australia. With a strong understanding of operational and strategic experiences in managing international hotels, Melanie’s appointment is an exciting step forward for Anantara’s first city hotel.
