Maitree Homthong is a 50-year-old Thai artist, graduate of Srinakarinwirote University, Prasanmit Campus, Bangkok, Thailand, with a BA in Fine art.
For "Isan Contemporary Painting" — his latest solo exhibition in Bangkok - Maitree offers 12 paintings of geometric forms associated to curving lines, inspired by the interaction between nature, the environment and the human way of life that affects the present times and creates a phenomenon of either sheer beauty or complete chaos.
“Despite anything that may happen, the mere power of the mind with its creative thinking, can turn all into a result of faith, hope, and energy which sustains the balance of one's life at present and also in the future”, said Maiitree.
