The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PReMA), looks to continuously provide accurate and useful health information to the Thai public, as it understands how important health can be in one’s life. PReMA strives to use all kinds of channels of communication to reach out to the whole community, and it looks to continue receiving input and support from medical experts, national health organizations, government agencies and the Thai media.
The channels of communication that PReMA has created and promoted include TV programs broadcast on TNN2, True Vision8, and Voice TV, under the title “SukaparbDee Kup PReMA”, and radio broadcast programs, under radio channel 100 FM titled “Lum Yuk Rueng Sukaparb”. In addition, PReMA has regularly set up medical seminars, distributed handbooks, printed materials for handouts, as well as distributing information via online social media such as facebook, twitter, and YouTube. The wide range of content gives details on how the medical system in Thailand works, innovative medicines, maintaining good health, prevention from current diseases, drug safety, and where to seek moral support on health related issues from different organizations.
Furthermore, PReMA will soon create and distribute every 3 months supplementary material under the title “SukaparbDee Kup PReMA”, via daily newspapers. PReMA is continually committed to organizing programs and activities dedicated to promoting the health and quality of life of all Thai people through these diverse communication channels. PReMA also supports the right of all Thais, and all medical professionals, to have a choice of high quality medicines that best meet their needs.
