MJETS, Thailand’s only fully licensed business jet operator, is pleased to announce the appointment of Captain Piyapong Moranon as Director of Flight Operations.
“Capt. Piyapong brings extensive industry experience and knowledge to our Flight Operations Department, having held senior operations and management positions with both commercial airlines and private operators in Thailand and the region” said Jaiyavat Navaraj, Chairman of Mjets.
An accomplished pilot, Capt. Piyapong has accumulated more than 10,000 flying hours on seven different types of aircraft, such as the Boeing B767 and 737, as well as executive jets such as the Beech Jet 400A.
A Thai national, Capt. Piyapong has received extensive training both in Thailand and abroad, including the United States, Malaysia, New Zealand, France, the Philippines, and Brunei. Over his illustrious 11 year career, he has held the positions of Line Captain, Chief Pilot, Ground Instructor, Flight Instructor and Director of Flight Operations. A graduate of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Capt. Piyapong joins a dedicated team of industry professionals to provide first-rate service to the company’s clients.
