Ms. Taddao Panjasophkul (left), Vice President of Amway for Thai Society Foundation (ATF), Dr. Chatchai Ratarasarn, Head of delegation on the tertiary, Surin Hospital (center) and Asst. Professor Dr. Apichai Angspatt (right), reconstructive surgeon of Operation Smile Thailand, announced in the 14th “One by One: Operation Smile”, to offer free treatment to Thai children with cleft lips and cleft palates on April 25-29, 2011 at Surin Hospital, Surin Province. This year ATF has donated a financial support of 1.5 million baht for the operation and more than 50 volunteers formed by Amway Business Owners, Members, and staff to jointly contribute to this social cause, expectedly in 14 years 1,700 kids have been treated.
Thirteen missions have earlier been organized under “One by One: Operation Smile” project in six provinces, namely Yasothon (5 times), Nakhon Si Thammarat (2 times), Surin (2 times), Lamphang, Yala, and Tak (2 times).
