BURBERRY, the British high-end fashion label opens its flagship store in Beijing as part of its efforts to promote a younger face in China. The newly Burberry store located at Sparkle Roll Plaza on Jianguo road and is accounted as the 57th Burberry store in China offering Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, Burberry Brit, Burberry Sport, Burberry Accessories, Eyewear, Fragrance and watches. Due to the potential of China’s consumer market for luxury goods, Burberry has further planed to double the number of stores in the next few years.
The 1,160 Square Metres store at Sparkle Roll Plaza Shop 102 on Jianguo road in Beijing reflects the new Burberry design concept, developed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey with British materials and themes are used throughout the building. The giant 9x5m flat screen LED video walls on the exterior facade and a 3x5m video wall within the store showcasing Burberry content. The retail theatre concept enables Burberry to broadcast content directly from its global headquarters in London to the store. In addition, wireless network throughout store allowing iPads to connect to Burberry global platforms through advanced sound system throughout store as well as the iPod dock allowing customers to play own content.
